I believe in the transparency and accountability of spending taxpayer dollars. We must rein in spending where we can, increase compensation for valued employees, and reduce the debt load of Pasquotank County, while providing the services all Pasquotank County citizens expect and deserve. We must strive to do this without raising taxes, if possible.

We must support local law enforcement. I will be a strong advocate for the Sheriff's department in providing the necessary tools to help them keep our citizens safe and make our county a great place to live!
All of our first responders need to be encouraged. As a county, we need to make sure funding these agencies are a top priority.

I support economic development and will encourage smart growth in our county. I pledge to do all I can to promote industries and jobs to come to Pasquotank County. I believe that by working together, the Board of County Commissioners, the Economic Development Commission and all other community partners will be successful in advancing growth that will enhance our citizens’ quality of life.

I am running as an "unaffiliated" candidate because I want to be elected based on who I am and what I believe, not because of party affiliation. My goal is to work with all parties for the benefit of Pasquotank County. I might not always agree with everyone on every issue, but I will always be respectful of other people's positions.
